Controls
- 18+ age‑gate on entry and before viewing imagery that could be harmful to children.
- “Highly effective” age assurance for any area allowing pornographic content (e.g., age‑verification vendor, payment card + selfie liveness, or equivalent).
- Block obvious circumvention attempts; detect and respond to mass sign‑ups, VPN patterns and under‑age signals.
Risk assessment
Complete the OSA Risk Assessment before launch and review annually or on material change.
Data protection
Minimise and segregate any age‑assurance data. Use explicit consent where processing special‑category or biometric data and conduct a DPIA.
